Dr. Deshpande is a regular speaker at events that focuses on areas like Stress Management, Depression Management, Somatization disorders, and Performance enhancement techniques. She talks about therapy to treat all psychiatric issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance abuse, eating disorders, personality disorders, work stress, & relationship issues.  

 Apart from clinical practice. She is inclined towards training and development, administrative responsibilities, and research in factors leading to mental illness together with medical interventions. She aspires to channel her decade of psychiatric practice towards effective wellness programs for corporates that counter the negative effects of stress and promote positive employee performance and well-being.

Dr. Deshpande initiated her career as a Research Officer with LTM Medical College & Hospital followed by a Medical Officer at Miraj Psychiatry Centre (Miraj) for a period of one year. She then plunged into teaching activities as an Assistant Lecturer with the Department of Psychiatry, Government Medical College (Miraj) for a term of four years succeeding which she joined Rajiv Gandhi Medical College (Kalwa). In 2007, Dr. Deshpande joined Regional Mental Hospital, Thane as a Medical Officer cum Psychiatrist. Her hard work and dedication at the 1850-bedded facility bore fruit with Dr. Deshpande being elevated to the position of Deputy Superintendent within 4 years of association. In addition to this, Dr. Deshpande’s professional associations include Bethany Hospital, National Hospital, and Insight Hospital, all located in Thane.
